Mentors are everything. Especially if you’re trying to break into a new field. Mentors tell you what they’ve gone through. They listen to you. And they say, this worked for me, this didn’t. Then you decide. The Nia Centre for the Arts is holding a mentor match night for young artists. It’s three hours long, so no reason not to make it.
