Ever think of leaving your job and pursuing your passion? Well, that’s kind of what Teresa Linstead did when she opened Sweets ‘n Treats Cafe on Oakwood Avenue just south of Vaughan. Teresa saw her job becoming 24-7 because of new technology. Then her youngest child left home leaving an empty nest. “I left the office and decided to do something for myself that made me happy. Baking is my happy place. I have lots to share.”
Teresa says she’s always baked for others and she’s now in business doing it for you. “I make everything myself as natural possible – homemade handcrafted, cookies, cakes, and chocolates.”
