Should he stay or should he go?

It’s E-Day in Midtown Toronto. The stakes are high. Today we either fire the prime minister or keep him. Exaggerating? Not really. This riding is the most Liberal riding in the country. It’s been Liberal before some of you were born. If the Liberals lose today, there will be a lot of pressure on Justin Trudeau to step down. Steve Paikin, a midtowner, says fat chance. Trudeau won’t go regardless of what we decide. A lot of that pressure will come from friends, like the Toronto Star. The Liberal paper has always pleaded for failed Liberal leaders to step down before general elections. If the Trudeau Liberals are anything like the Kathleen Wynne Liberals, they will pay no heed to their friends, and Steve Paikin will be right. We’ll see.
