I went walking along St. Clair West to find out what local people think about the byelection. My question was this: Your vote won’t change the government, but you can send a message to Ottawa. What’s your message?

Message: “I’m declining my ballot. I think all three major parties have terrible leadership. They abandoned what I once held dear.”

Area: Casa Loma
Message: “Make more capital available for local founders. They are specialized at what they do. We want to make Canada a place to stay and grow. Not go elsewhere.” (Mish says founders are creators of companies, organizations, small businesses, anything new)

Area: Winona & St. Clair
Message: “Take care of seniors more. They have contributed and when it’s their time they should be able to relax. They are under so much pressure now. I don’t know what Ottawa is doing.”
