The TTC is planning for a September 2024 opening. This latest prediction seems plausible and the TTC is budgeting for it. And speaking of budgets, the TTC saved $46.5 million due to the LRT’s delay. Some of that money went to hire new staff. So why aren’t those new TTC jobs allocated to local people who have endured the Eglinton LRTs eternal construction?
